5 Reasons to Use a Condom (and why it can be really fun!)

Why do we have such an aversion to condoms? They don’t have to take away our fun—in fact they can add to it, and here are five reasons why.

1. They’ll protect you and your lover against STDs and STIs
   More than half of all people will have an STD/STI in their lifetime according to Center for Disease Control research released October 19, 2016. That’s a staggering figure! Condoms are one important way to reduce the risk you and your lover have of contracting an STD or STI.
2. Show your partner you respect and care for them
   Health is your most important asset! By using a condom, you are saying something powerful to your partner; that you care for their well-being and want them to stay healthy.
3. Spice up your sex—or at least make foreplay more flavorful
   It’s a chocolate cone… it’s your favorite soda… no, it’s a condom! Sprinkle these flavored treats into your love life for an added dash of fun and flavor. It’s a great way to make the condom a nice featured appetizer before the main course.
4. Condoms can be sexy
   It’s the truth. Putting on a condom doesn’t have to be a clinical maneuver—unless you fancy some nurse role play, then it definitely can be a clinical maneuver. Build the dawning of a condom into a part of your foreplay, make it fun! Have it be a part of your experience, not something that interrupts your experience.
5. Experience new sensations
   Ribbed and studded condoms, along with other rubbers that bring on warm and tingling sensations can be new, fun, and exciting. You’ll feel sex in a whole new way!

It’s just condom sense to use a condom. Who knew being smart could be this fun.
